We’re currently seeking a system administrator with experience in upkeeping and managing large-scale systems. In this position, you will be required to lead a small team of system administrators, ensuring upkeep and improvement of digital curated Backpacker College content within our systems.

Your responsibilities
Work collaboratively with your team of system admins
Become a market expert in using our systems and software
Set key performance indicators for your team
Use social media and other websites to research and liaise with room providers
With your team, identify the best destinations and use market information to ensure supply and demand meets market need
Communicate effectively with regional teams of system administrators and marketing communications associate
Requirements
Post-secondary diploma
Degree in marketing, communications, business, software engineering or another related field
Minimum 1 year experience co-op or internship
Ability to work some evenings and weekends
Ability to work and manage a team remotely
You take initiative and work well within teams
You have superb listening, communication, and organizational skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Expertise in the following areas: SaaS software, database and data modeling, spreadsheets
